The Rural and Remote Response addition can be attached to any of the courses.
The Rural and Remote Response unit will teach participants exactly what to say and to whom to ensure that they get the correct ambulance resources responding to their incident (e.g. 4WD vs road ambulance vs helicopter). Participants will leave the course with confidence in disseminating casualty details and exact location to emergency services and have a sound understanding of how to optimise the landing requirements of medical retrieval helicopters.
